A real treat to see these beautiful tiny kingfishers in the reeds along the Zambezi river in the Lower Zambezi area of Zambia.  Taken handheld from a boat.

nice one of this little guy and all that vivid colors is a treat to look at this image and I like the out of focus bg as-well, it's a winner CAROL.

Carol, love the vibrant color on this tiny Kingfisher and the handsome pose. The background is ideal with a hint of habitat. Considering you handheld this shot from a boat, makes your capture even more impressive. Great job. :)

Fabulous image Carol, the detail and colouring really pop. Kingfishers are a species I have had zero luck with over the years, they are such cautious birds, so handheld was the ticket. Such a great pose as well.
