Recently visited a spot with dozens of these usually tricky parrots coming in for a drink. At times it was hard to get a clean shot.
I had set up a few upright perches with multiple tops sticking up, hoping they would be occupied by multiple birds. What can I say, it worked quite well :)

Always the best feeling when the birds do what you hoped they would.

Great when a plan comes together and produces a super image. I like that it is perched birds, one squawking and one landing .. a bit of everything and the colours are amazing.

Cool-looking birds and kind of them to use your perch. :)

Another bevy of colorful beauties from ‘down under’! The one just landing puts this over the top for me.

Nice setup.. Excellent getting this many sharp in the frame.
Minor, but with careful work you could probably clone the branch crossing the tail..

What a stunner Jan, I bet this exceeded your expectations, all with eye contact & a flight shot to top it off.
