Dan, love the pose, with wings on the down stroke, and the attractive habitat. Image quality looks great for ISO 6400 on the D500. What noise reduction software did you apply?

Thanks Ron,
I use Topaz denoise, it will make any BG look fine.
The trick is the bird and the kingfisher is noisy... at really
high iso, I do use some NR on the bird, sometimes they can
look fine, in this case, there is some noise.
I live in the dark Pacific northwest, you need to get good at noise reduction.....
