Finally back to NS. Sorry folks for not posting or responding for a while. So busy with family stuff and chasing Great Grey Owls on weekends for last 5 weeks. Just got back home yesterday.
This bird was on my wish list for a long time. I walked miles and miles in remote woods with no luck for many days and finally I found a nest with Great Grey Owls and it was not empty. I have never seen GGO before, so when I first saw it I was so happy. In this shot mommy (assuming) flew out of nest and landed on nearby tree. It was so tame and relaxed. I can't wait for winter trips to see if I can find them again.
