Orioles just don't come to our feeders...until this year when we had four. I was so thrilled, especially to see both male and female adults. They seem to be gone now, or very scarce-saw the male once yesterday. Somebody is still eating oranges. :). I hope they are nesting somewhere nearby. My woods aren't suitable habitat.

Used a bit of noise reduction (dfine2)-maybe not enough, but did not want to lose detail.

Please view full resolution.

Congrats on getting them there Cindy. Brilliant capture. The blighters excusing the pun are so flighty. My own garden has had a few Robins, Pigeons, Starlings, Wrens etc.... and the odd Goldfinch but no matter how many welcome signs I put out,... (diff' food)... it's not happening here.

Pleasure to see, TFS

I am enjoying the color of the oriole along with the different shades of green in the background and on the perch. A tiny bit soft but I attribute most of that to the 40th of the second shutter speed.

Sorry you are not getting those wonderful visitors!  These orioles go for the suet! (Hardly any interest in oranges, though they have had a few pecks).

Thanks-yes-it was pretty dark out. Looks better in full resolution version. Noise reduction doesn't help either....

Four Orioles versus none in previous years is grounds for a celebration. This is a lovely lady, which is complemented beautifully by the tones in the newly opening leaves. Well done, Cindy!

Nice pose on a perfect sized perch. Image has a wonderful spring feel to it.

I like that you took it vertically and the separation of the leaves works great in this shot, well done CYNTHIA.

The lovely colour palette makes this one special, Cindy. So complementary to this lovely girl, and what a sweet capture!
