This beauty was happily gleaning bugs from apple blossoms just beginning to open, while "talking" to himself. "Chip,  Chirp".  I enjoyed a wonderful few minutes watching the show from my car-he didn't seem to mind.  Sometimes the experience is worth as much or more than the picture.
In this scene he is contemplating his next attack, which resulted in a buggy treat. :)

I’m not normally a “high key” fan, but it really works for me here, setting off the colors nicely.

I agree, nice high key presentation, Cindy. Great color, and excellent pose “contemplating” his next treat. Excellent capture from your car.

High key works with the buds and the nice bird. The birds look and
the image design has a melancholy mood for me.
Well done.

the oriole on the branch doing he's thing is well done but the added leaves and red buds is an attraction to this image, nicely composed CYNTHIA.

I am not a fan of hi-key for wildlife images - normally, but this works because the bird and perch are so beautiful, and beautifully captured, Cindy! I love the pose, and you got such a nice look at that bright eye. So sweet with head tilted, and he really does appear to be planning his next move!

Excellent high key image with terrific color and detail. In this case, I find the black frame is very helpful.
