This male kept returning to the same branch after sipping nectar at our feeder. It was a dark day, so I had to try to catch momentary flashes of that brilliant throat.

A real nice look at this Ruby Throat. Well composed. I am enjoying a look at the tail feathers and I like the way the lighter plumage blends with the background.

I saw my first one yesterday and he was tired, I like that you made it in a square vertical look and it really looks good sitting on that little perch,
