Varied Thrush

We had a big snowstorm in the foothills of Alberta last week that made it difficult for migrants. This thrush was feeding along some open water on a creek. Nikon D500, 600 f4, tripod, 320 iso, f8, 1/640.

Interesting setting for this guy... More orange than our local species...
Maybe add a catchlight to liven up the image?

Excellent point of view, color, and detail. I really like the very subtle texture and shadows in the snow.
