American Goldfinch male

Very close to home; through my open bedroom window. The goldfinches started showing up about three weeks ago and have now become the most common bird to visit my home feeding grounds. No exotic species yet here. Perhaps they will show up sometime.

Iso-800, 100-400+ extender at 552 mm, F8, 500th, fill flash at -0.7, tripod, 60% of full frame, overcast.
