White Cheeked Pintail/Bahama Pintail.

Found this beauty escaped and swimming happily on a nearby lake a few years ago.  The water colour is from the overhanging trees.

the water effect looks like the stroke from a paint brush and the wonderful captured of the pintail by the same artist, a lovely image CAROL.

Everything about this photo is just beautiful Carol. The duck, the coloration, and the background. Really spot on.

Beautiful bird, but it's the wonderful color & texture of the water that makes this photo a great one!

Wonderful color and detail. Very painterly. Water patterns are fascinating.

The emerald green background sets off this lovely pintail beautifully, Carol. This is an amazing species with great color and markings. Great shot.

Very handsome Duck you fond and captured so nicely..
I have a couple of shots of this species from Galapagos Islands, but the quality is not the best as I was just getting into bird photography back then.
