Another bird shot from Mere Sands NR, Rufford. I keep going hoping to catch the Kingfisher, but as yet it remains elusive.

This is interesting, Peter - Looks like you've got an Old English Blackneck Pheasant, rather than the Common or Ringneck Pheasant. Nice one!

Neither am I, Peter I just love all wildlife, four and two legged varieties  :D .  You did well to find this one, they are much rarer than the usual Common/Ringneck ones.
