Wood Duck

Shot this morning. Weather was dark overcast, some rain...the usual
Pacific Northwest. I waited by the canal for this couple to come out.
There were 3 pairs there and if any of the male came even closer to other female...resulting in instant fight between the males. Must be breeding season :-)
D2Hs, 500mm f/4 P ED IF + TC-16A
1/320, ISO-1600, f/9 on tripod.

A very sweet pair- nicely placed together with pretty reflections. Love seeing these "couples" this time of year. Nice exposure for such a dark day!
