Quite a rare bird for us in the UK. barely 2000 nesting pairs. Taken in the Rothiemurcus estate in the Cairngorms one February. Amazing thing, I'd hired a guide named Neil McIntyre. Basically has a set up in the forest.. No hide.. Just feeders. Drops you off and lets you get on with it. Must do again. Techs.
Nikon D7100 and Sigma Sport. 600 1/400 F6.3 Iso 3200. FF. Please feel free to view the image uncompressed. Thanks for looking. Make your life spectacular!
