Shot 2 weeks ago early morning. Sun was just getting up. I was shooting it 90 degree to the  sun with zero option  for better angle so I have to wait and pray that bird would turn and for short moment it did.  I love the colors on these pheasants.

D2Hs, 500mm f/4 P ED IF + TC-16A
1/250, ISO-500, f/9 on tripod.

Got to love the wonderful colours on these crazy birds, Ludo! The side light puts him in the spotlight beautifully!

Superb job of controlling the light and exposure in a tough harsh light situation.
