A spectactular deep red-coloured parrot living along the east coast of Australia. 
They're fairly common and can become quite tame near picnic grounds, but sometimes it's the tame birds that can be the hardest to photograph!
Anyhow, here it all came together :D

Wow, such a striking image, Jan. Sometimes I'm envious of you guys having allof those great looking birds in Australia.

It looks like a very fine painting, Jan. The color is stunning, and the Rosella is set off beautifully with your signature background.
