Finally some time to shoot. Shot today late afternoon. When I got to the wildlife preserve I noticed tons of ducks and shore birds deeper in the bay munching on stuff in the mud. Tide was low, but it was filling in, so I found a good spot partially hiding behind large log, set tripod low and waited for tide to flush birds my direction. It worked really well.
I love to watch these shore birds how they catch the worm in the mud and then run towards water rinse it out before eating it and do it all over again. Some time Peregrin makes a visit and all birds explode and take-off like a rocket make sure Peregrin won't make a meal from one of them. D2Hs, Nikon (MF) 500mm f/4 P ED IF + TC-16A 1/640, ISO-400, f9 on tripod. Please click on the image for uncompressed view, thank, you |
