Hope everyone has been well.
It hasn't been a great duck season out here this year due to the consistent storms and rains. More rain than we have had in 20 years. I don't think the ducks even had a chance to settle down in one place along their migratory route for more than a few days.
I went out once this year with a few friends and it was very slow.  After a few hours we only got two or three good passes but as luck would have it, I nailed one of the best Cinnamon flight shots of my life! Go figure!
Rarely do you get them in a banking pose like this with both sets of scapulars fully lit green by the sun. I was pretty exited to say the least!
Hope you like him.

Thanks as always for looking and for your input.  I appreciate it.

David

This is absolutely spectacular, the best image I could have imagined of an awesome plumaged male Cinnamon Teal.

You are a sick man Dave. A sick man indeed. Just ridiculously good. So happy for you. And the catchlight is dead center as it should be to light this drake up perfectly. DFC!!!
