Dan, You nailed this one. Good to see it's that sharp at iso 3600. I think you're more like 630 mm with a crop sensor and a 1.4tc.

This is an absolutely beautiful image of a male in flight.  Perfect slightly hazed sunlight reveals max color.  Perfect down position of the wings, at an angle so the back wing is not hidden.  Excellent background. Great detail and DOF on the bird.  It takes skill and great hand-to-eye coordination to nail this.
