Photographed in eastern Pennsylvania. It was not only cold but also very windy and the Horned Lark's pose looked pretty aerodynamic. :)

Sweet pose with the raised foot and the particles of the snow in the air. Well done, Axel.

Great job showing survival skills- love the raised foot and lowered body. Sure does look aerodynamic, like the wind could whoosh right over. Beautiful!

Sweet image Axel, it almost looks like it's on the prowl like a cat.

Beautiful image. The lark really pops off that white background. The raised leg and the hunkered body posture add to the story.

Great behaviour capture, Axel!  A perfect view of the ground hugging creep.  :D
