A cloudy day with excess luminosity for such a dark species. I had to increase the exposure to properly illuminate the bird, however the water was overexposed, but the result obtained in the first photograph encouraged me with this technique the rest of this day in the Marismas del Odiel (Huelva, Spain) in order to obtain this high key series of a singular specie
A hidrohide was used in order to obtain images at water level Equipment Canon EOS 50D Canon 100-400 at 400mm (f8; 1/400; ISO 250) and hidrohide As always all comments are welcome!!!! PS. Thanks to the Consejeria de Medio Ambiente de la Junta de Andalucia for the necessary permits |
