1D4, 500f4, 1.4x, 1/2000s, f/6.3, ISO 640, manual

Photographed at Middle Creek in Pennsylvania. There were about 150.000 Snow Geese feeding and they will head north very soon.

I thought Bosque from the thumbnail....
Really nice light and the cool snow goose landing pose...
It looks tad oversharped in the compressed version here maybe because the bird is tack sharp.

I love the sun light on this bird. Great wing pose. We have tons of Snow Geese every year here. Fun to watch when huge 10,000+ flock takes of or land....very noise.
