I have enjoyed photographing this species when I have been in your part of the world. They are very elegant looking and that comes through in this photo. Compositionally the bird feels just a little too far to the left in the frame to me.

Andrew, Excellent details, superb eye contact. A bit tight in the frame for me.

Thanks all for the comments. I admit I did have issues with the composition, but I do have room to fix this. Will post an update when I get back to the computer (off to the F1's now for the weekend).
