Getting the right exposure for pulling out its colour for this pretty fellow is something which i found a bit tricky.
Had a fabulous time in my countryside at the Himalayan foothills, spending a week with such fantabulous feather friends.

1/400sec, f/8, iso-800

used a 7D + 100-400mm is1 for this shot.

Thanks for watching. Have a bright and fab week ahead.

A beautiful bird on a beautiful blossom. Both are showcased very nicely on the beautiful background. Well done!

Great bird- love the colors. I think the image is underexposed- the blacks are quite blocked.
I would return to the RAW and see what details you can get out of the blacks. I often use detail extractor from the NIK Efex collection.
I would also try increasing the overall exposure by 2/3 of a stop as well.
Would love to see this bird IRL some day.

Lovely setting and a beautiful bird-nice composition. Agree with Gail- you might bring up a bit more of the darks with a little post-processing. Shoudn't need much- it's quite attractive already.
