D500, 600f4, 400 iso, f8, 1/640, full frame, adjusted in LR. Photographed this February, northern Alberta foothills. The bird is perhaps a bit centred but I elected not to crop.

This Dipper is posed beautifully in the stream, where it is commonly found. I love the open beak, the disturbed water (hinting of its "dipping" action), and the water droplets in midair. Well done, Gary!

Gary, The crop looks fine. Excellent details, especially in the snow. Maybe selectively lightening the bird could show more detail there?

Excellent pose captured and I like the mixture of snow, ice and water in the surrounding.

Nice capture of this beauty. I love to watch these birds when they dive under the water.

Sweet little dipper and its not easy to get them to sit still for more than a nano second, Gary. Nicely caught with the open beak and tongue showing.
