One of those species which are considered to be Near Threatened by the IUCN. But a beautiful bird to photograph. 

Shot with Nikon gears.

The oof bands certainly enables the bird to stand out well from the environment, assuming you might have added some gaussian blur? (Totally ok if you did of course, just me pondering how this image was created.) Very cool looking bird!!!

Thanks a lot. The BG was quite at a distance. Since this has been shot with a Nikon 300 mm f/2.8 lens ( 1.4X TC was also used) with f stops at 4, the BG was almost like this. No guasian blur has been used. I just used a few plugins to tone down the BG a bit.
