It has been a long while since I've posted.  Vancouver is in a bit of a freeze right now - we call it a freeze anyway.  Consequently, Rails and Soras are coming out into the open to feed.  This is an immature bird.

Lovely shot of this reclusive bird. I have tried many times to get them in the open, no luck. Many times I can hear them only few feet away deep into the cattails.
