One from a few days ago. We were blessed with some great conditions this year - light snow, blizzard, overcast as well as low winter sun. This allowed us to try for different shots during our visit.

D4s, 300mm f2.8 + TC14, f6.3, 1/2000th, ISO900.
Regards,

Des

Extraordinary shot, Des. The dynamic, spread-wing pose is awesome, and the prey is icing on the cake.

Thank you, Ron, glad you like the shot. In the interest of transparency, the fish is tossed into the sea for the Eagle to grab, and thus it's not a living prey. We do however, use their natural food (in this case a mackerel), and they don't always come to 'fish'.
Regards,

Des

Very nice shot. Beautiful bird. To each their won but I may have preferred a horizontal framing.
