Sougata, Nice habitat and background and pretty bird. For me, the shadows are a bit strong. Try putting yourself in a direct line between the Sun and the bird.

Gene, makes a good point: the side light leaves the majority of the bird in deep shadow. Shadow reduction via Photoshop should help. It is a beautiful scene overall. :)
