The third and final of my snow geese mini series is a little unorthodox for here, but I figured what the heck. I tried to really get a well rounded exploration of how to experience this magnificent waterfowl event. For this, I took several dozen shots, all varying the shutter speed, aperture, and how I moved the camera while shooting. Sometimes I held the camera still, others I panned, and for this I moved with an up and down motion while panning, similar to a snake slithering. The slower shutter speed combined to form an abstract pattered that I found unlike anything else I shot. I really like how it gives an elongated, graceful movement to these birds that is not always seen.
