A great look back pose of this Snail Kite, Jake. Super eye contact, nice feather detail, and I love the signature hook on the bill. Very nice.

Nice pose and excellent detail, especially of that lethal snail impaler! Whatever is making that lovely warm background colour complements the image very well and links beautifully with that wonderful eye. Nicely done, Jake!

Thanks Carol.  The background is a naked Bald Cypress tree in its winter non-leaves.
