This is lovely, Tony. The light, background, detail, exposure, and reflection are all excellent. The warm stone face behind the egret, and it’s reflection, add a significant measure to the success of this image in my opinion. Great job — beautiful Image.

Artistry personified once again, Tony! The pose, reflection, setting and use of light all come together beautifully.

This is really, really good.  The egret is probably looking for fish but seems to be looking at its own reflection, so the image has character.  I love the somewhat complicated background, and you got a perfect reflection of the bird - which, combined, makes this very special.

+1
I too feel that the bird is admiring its reflection. This reminds me of Greek mythology, Narcissus. Wonderful pose and reflection. Beautiful work.
