A good-looking woodpecker on a nice rustic perch, Frank. The rain saturates the colors beautifully. A lovely image with the new lens.

I think they chose the wrong name for this bird given its most diagnostic feature. Maybe "red-assed woodpecker"? Nice detail from your new lens (jealous me). If this were my image I would crop off the lower out of focus area since it doesn't add much to the overall picture (IMO).
