Photo taken at Laguna Seca Ranch in South Texas December 23, 2018.

Nikon D850, Nikon 300mm f/2.8 lens, 1/2500 sec at f/8.0, ISO 500.

This Caracara is transitioning from a juvenile to an adult.  The feathers are darker in areas (like an adult) and the bill is mostly pinkish transitioning to a yellowish color (like an adult).
