Barrow - 2018.  I liked the light and habitat on this so decided not to crop it down.  Probably better suited to a large print instead of 800 megapixels on the web.

Shawn, terrific color, great composition, and beautiful natural habitat. Yes a larger, more detailed version would be nice, but this stands on its own, as is. Great job!

Great to see this rather rare bird (at least in New England)- very nice setting for this beauty. Bet it looks great as a big print.

Nice light and pose. I like your compositional choice. However, the thumbnail looked pretty darn good as well.
