Excellent capture Peter! The berries, BG and the bird blend nicely together. Also the hint of snow on branches add to the image.

Excellent image, Peter. We had them on a row of Crab Apple trees at the University until they cut down all the trees as a result of building construction.
Haven't seen them since.

Peter, love how the color of the berries complement the Grosbeak. Excellent detail, and great timing to catch a berry in the beak.

Nice closeup pose Peter. I have very few pictures of these birds. We are lucky to see them around here.

Peter, Nice catch with the berry in the mouth. A little tight in the frame for me.

My nemesis. We do have them as a breeding bird in the Sierras of California, but I have never been close enough to get a decent image. Lucky you. Perhaps a little tight, but I like it as is.

A fine capture-berry in beak, beautiful colors. So lucky to get this beautiful close view!

Lovely complementay colours with the berries and the plumage, and a nice beak full too! Excellent image, Peter.
