Peter, the owl is detailed and sharp, and provides great eye contact. I'm ok with the high key background, but the out-of-focus foreground branch is a minor distraction. Still, a fine photograph of this handsome owl. Nice job!  :)

I have to agree about the oof tree, but the owl is captured beautifully with excellent detail, Peter.
