Taken in Michigan's Eastern upper Peninsula.  The grey background was from a lot of dead standing tree trunks off in the distance.

About a 75% crop (25% cropped off).

EOS 1D Mark 2 + 600mm IS lens

Well, even though the background comes from dead tree stumps, they complement this warbler perfectly, Paul. A gorgeous warbler, love It’s color and markings. Excellent work.

Excellent closeup Paul. I really like how the background colors tie in with the colors of the bird. Very well done.

Such a beautiful capture- these birds are more heard than seen around here, and usually very high up. Great job!
