Red-headed woodpecker - one more time

After sorting through hundreds of images of this bird (now my favorite woodpecker) I found this one. It was shot without the 1.4x and as a result I have cropped it quite a bit (the trunk of the snag was cropped out on the left). Fortunately it held up quite well.

Canon 7D2, 600mm f4L IS II, ISO 640, f/7.1, 1/2500 sec, manual exposure, hand held from vehicle.

A great looking takeoff shot, Bob. The extended wing and upward direction of the bird create a beautiful flight pose. The Red-head is my favorite woodpecker too. Great job!
