Bald Eagle

Shot today morning. It was a great day at the river. Tons of eagles.
I was able to sneak up to this eagle and I laid down on the sand at the river bank with  one foot in  the river hiding behind drift log.
Eagle was munching on huge salmon. He/she  gave the "look"

D4, 200-500mm f/5.6
1/320, ISO-800, f/5.6, handheld, VR-ON @500mm DX mode (1.5X crop mode).

A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

That's "the look" for sure- quite the low angle view! And quite the effort that went into getting it. Excellent photo, though I'd be tempted to crop some of the OOF foreground a bit.
