I waited for this Brown Pelican to venture into an area of the water that reflected the multi-colored buildings located above. Photographed in Monterey, California.

Tony, nice planning for your shot, the water color and ripples are cosmic!  The metallic sheen is great too.  Pelican stands out nicely from the dark water, really fun image.

A nicely detailed capture of this classic pelican pose, and the almost metallic sheen on that psychedelic water makes quite a stunning setting! The overall effect when clicked on to view the uncompressed image is really striking!
