Among the high altitude birds which I managed to click till now, this one is just too colourful. This little beauty was clicked in April, 2016 at an altitude of around 14,000 ft on the lap of the mighty Himalayas.

Shot with Nikon D500 + Nikkor 300 mm f/4 ( Non VR ) lens + 1.4X TC

Biru, such a dainty, colorful bird, beautifully captured!  Enjoyed hearing about the background info also, must be hard work, yet amazing to be at such high altitude, excellent capture.

I think I would pass out at that altitude. The trek was certainly worth it,what a colourful and beautiful little bird.

Holy Mackerel! What a beauty. Amazing colors,,,that green colors is so nice. The red chest , the spots on the head with that colorful tail.
One of the kind bird. 14,000 ??? that is for sure high altitude bird.
