Shot Feb-2017. Owl landed really close and just sat there for a while resting between flights while searching for voles.

Great bird and a nice setting. I like the dark sky background for the owl in particular. Awesome image!

Ludo, beautiful shot of this gorgeous creature!  The attentive head turn pose, feather markings and details are great.  Also enjoy the diagonal framing of grass divided by the blue BG, excellent presentation.
