A favorite portrait of a Green Heron. It was a windy day and the goal I had in mind was to select camera settings that would help lend a dramatic, dream-like effect to the turbulent water. Taken hand-held, no cropping.
Canon PowerShot SX40 HS, 150 mm, f/5.8, 1/250 sec, ISO 100. "My wife and I make the perfect point-and-shoot photography team. She points and I shoot!"
