What a handsome hawk, Paul. The beautiful banking pose provides an excellent topside view, and the flared tail is a treat. The tree tops in the background provide a nice glimpse of habitat. Well done!

This is kind of of shot I am trying to get with Rough-legged Hawk. No luck so far, only perched shots. Amazing image with a great light and banking pose.
Superb job Paul!

Beautiful hawk and excellent shot, Paul. I like the inclusion of the hint of background trees which add another dimension to this lovely view.

Great top side flight pose Paul. One of my favorite hawks to photograph.

Have to agree with previous comments- the background trees really give this interest, and the bird is beautifully done.
