Paul, beautiful warbler in very nice habitat. Love the color of the bird. The insect is an excellent finishing touch. Well done!

The meal adds a lot, as does the background and perch lush green to set off this beauty. Just lovely-well done!

Beautifully done, Paul! A lovely behaviour capture in natural habitat with the bonus of lunch in the beak. A fine image in all respects.

Cannot ask for a much better image of this species. Great eye level view in appropriate habitat, and the spruce budworm takes this over the top resulting in this classic image. Probably my favorite species of warbler, and looking forward to the day I finally photograph one on their breeding grounds.

Josh,  I live in an area of current spruce budworm outbreak, where Cape May Warblers were everywhere this spring/summer.  If you plan to visit Michigan I can guide you to them as well as many other species of northern warblers.  Also guaranteed - Magnolia, Blackburnian, Palm.
