What a beauty. I love the bird separation from the BG standing on clump of dirt and grass. This bird is screaming it's lungs out :-).

sorry folks, this is not a calling pose, its a distress calling pose. this bird probably has been called to this perch many times. I have seen it many times with Virginia rails and other birds in my area.

Sorry George, you are 100% incorrect in that it was called to the perch. The bird uses this perch all the time and does this call when another Willet flies by.
