Lovely portrait, bad hair, nice colours.

What's wrong with the hair, it looks awesome :-) One good looking duck. The 500mm PF is for sure a nice lightweight 500.

Everything's right with this image. The comp and subject are certainly interesting and the sharpness & contrast of the optics are very apparent here. Sure looks like a "new lens love"! :D

Brilliant shot - love the hair style! Will wait to read your review - hedging between the 500PF and 600/f4, and of course save some money for another Duck workshop and may be more!! EJ i am so glad i took the 2018 Duck workshop - fantastic!

Gorgeous image, EJ. Love the hairdo on Mr. Woody, and the golden water is superb!

Sweet pose and water. Duck looks a tad dark on my screen.

Amazing color in the water. Love the hairdo- I wonder how that happened! Showing off, maybe? So nice to see these first pictures with the 500.

E.J., Lighter BG and water are excellent. On my monitor, the duck is just a tad dark?

as good as it gets. brilliant image.. head tilt, water drop and the "bad hair" I guess are linked and add a wonderful level of interest. Glad to see that lens is being enjoyed.
