Went to shoot Hoodies, but they outsmarted me.
Didn't want to waste a morning out, so just shot what was around.
Here is the rare and elusive mallard drake. 
(I do like the fall colours, though)

Nice low shooting angle and beautiful colors, Leigh. I wish for good weather for Saturday/Sunday so I could go and check out the rare Mallards. We had Hoodies here but always way too far.

Yeah, there are a few hoodies in the big man made pond there at Humber, but they are always on the “other” side - no matter where I am hiding.

Sweet tranquil pose Leigh. Mallards are beautiful- you did him justice. What if they were rare? People would be struck by the colors....and I am anyway.
