Excellent behavioral image with good detail. Perhaps a little dark as presented. Consider a tighter crop which excludes the the OOF vegetation in front of the heron?

The prey adds a lot to this image, Enrique. This image would benefit from a light boost in exposure. Nice work.

Thanks for the suggestion. You are right! It was way under exposed as taken and needs further adjustment - maybe too much for IQ... so I was going for it being a bit under exposed for mood, but maybe it does not work.

I like the idea you have of presenting a mood. It works pretty well for me-I like the OOF surrounds. On my screen, the color of the heron is tending towards purple. A few tweaks and this would be a real charmer. It DOES have a wonderful mood already. Nice work!
