What a great view on those rocks-love the bits of orange in the rocks and background. The bird is terrific perched there looking ready for action. Very special photo!

Beautiful image, Pier! Great composition and superb detail throughout, the splashes of golden lichen complement the background colour perfectly. Well done.

Pier, the linear striations on both the rock and BG, along with the diagonal perch makes this image so visually interesting.  The Ptarmigan, posed with staggered feet, along with the excellent composition, further add to make this a top notch presentation!
